Alun Wyn Remains Committed To Wales Rugby
Welsh rugby gets a fresh boost as Alun Wyn Jones has committed to staying on at Ospreys by opting to sign a fresh dual contract at the national level as well as with the club. His teammates of the region, Dan Biggar and Rhys Webb would be leaving regional ruby by the summer of 2018 but he has decided to continue to stay here to play the 14th campaign with his native region.
Jones stated that he is thankful that Ospreys and WRU have been looking into his best interests and have helped him play his best. It is probably a journey that he would not have predicted to have continued so long with Ospreys but he is happy that the signing of new contracts has come by, which will help him to play as well as prolong his abilities at the game. The Group Chief Executive of WRU stated that it was a big boost to the region that Alun Wyn has committed to continue playing in the region and the young players would have the opportunity to learn from him and benefit from his experience. He will definitely help to shape the future generation of Wales players.
