Rowett to Norwich City
There are media reports that former Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett may end up at Norwich City after having been sacked.
With Norwich City struggling in the Championship, it is believed that the management is looking for a replacement for Alex Neill.
Many people do not understand why Gary Rowett has been sacked by Birmingham City despite the club sitting at an honorable 7th position in the league and many football legends have shown their support to the players. It is believed that Norwich City would want to seize the opportunity to appoint Rowett as the manager of the club especially with the team struggling to remain consistent in the Championship.
Indeed many people believe that Norwich City would have been able to mount a serious push for promotion this season given that they have one of the best teams in the Championship. However, the club has struggled so far this campaign, and there are no signs that things will change in the immediate future.
Alex Neill has managed to get some breathing space after Norwich City has beaten Aston Villa in their recent game but he might find himself again under pressure if the club does not become more consistent. With a manager such as Gary Rowett available at the moment, Norwich City will want to make a statement that they mean business and that they will want to give the players every chance to progress and to make sure that they can push for a promotion place.
Gary Rowett said that he is opened to any challenge and that he might be interested in getting back into a management role as soon as he can. He said that he was disappointed with the way things turn out at Birmingham City and that he want to prove himself again in the Championship.
